As a family foursome we’ve been creating magic at our own venues and restaurants for more than 20 years. We began our joint adventures in 1997 with a freehold 17th century coaching inn in rural West Somerset. This comprised a traditional bar, gastro pub style restaurant and fourteen guest bedrooms. Under our care the listed building underwent a major, sympathetic refurbishment and the business went from strength to strength.

A few years later in 1999 we acquired a tea rooms in world renowned Bourton-on-the-Water and developed this into a thriving restaurant alongside the pub. In 2008 we sold our UK operations and headed for South Africa to pursue a unique opportunity we had spotted on a beautiful farm in the famous wine region of Stellenbosch. For the last 12 years we’ve been pouring our hearts and souls into this project and we’ve proudly created one of the most popular and successful wedding venues in the Cape Town area.
